    10 people killed as building collapses in Ibadan

    A building fall in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, killed ten persons on Thursday morning, October 31.

    The Oyo State Fire Services Agency confirmed the occurrence, stating that the structure in the Jegeda Oluloyo section of Ibadan’s Ona Ara Local Government section collapsed at 2 a.m. on Thursday.

    According to the agency, seven others were injured in varying degrees as a result of the incident, and the remains of the deceased were recovered.

    According to the statement, “The Oyo State Fire Services Agency received a panicked call at around 2 a.m. this morning in the Jegede Olunloyo area of Ibadan, of which ten people were recovered from the wreckage of the collapsed structure and seven were rescued alive. “The rescue operation is still ongoing.”
