Petrol prices have gone up once more under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) implemented the increase, which now means Lagos residents will pay N1,025 per liter and Abuja residents will pay N1,060 per litre.

This change follows the October setting of petrol rates at NNPCL stations at N1,030 in Abuja and N998 in Lagos, while other outlets charged between N1,150 and N1,200 per liter.

NNPCL stations in Lagos and Abuja showed the revised rates as of Tuesday morning.

The price of gasoline has risen from N145 to more than N1,000 since President Tinubu assumed office on May 29, 2023, and declared the end of the fuel subsidy.
