    FRSC Lagos Commander Charges Officers on Stewardship, Accountability, and Diligence to Work As He Celebrates Retirement

    FRSC Corps Commander, Patrick D. Davou, Lagos State Sector Commander FRSC, charges officers with continuous diligence to work as he celebrates his retirement on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024, at the FRSC event hall in Lagos.

    Dignitaries and stakeholders who attended the event includes: The wife of the celebrant, Mrs Kaneng Dung Davou, the representative of Honourable James Abiodun Faleke, Hon. Olusegun Odunmbaku, the Executive Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA); Barr. Olalekan Onafeko, the Clerk of the Lagos House of Assembly; the representative of the Lagos State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC); members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW); ACM Ronke Daniels (Rtd); the Acting Zonal Commander, CC Modupe Adefope, the State Coordinator of Special Marshals, Pastor Olusegun Akintan and members; the Chairperson and members of the Road Safety Officers’ Wives Association (ROSOWA),  the National Head of the Celebrity Special Marshal; Madam Julie Chi Nwaoha, Mrs Kareem, Nawoj representatives and others. …

    Hon. Odunbaku, the local government chairperson of Ojodu on behalf of Ikeja federal constituents and Lagos in its entirety, noted in his speech that the retiring commander of FRSC Lagos is indeed dedicated to the course of his service to the nation. Commander Patrick, he says, has shown integrity, courage, and leadership since the early days of his career until his retirement. Odunbaku commended the retiring officer’s steadfastness in ensuring the safety of lives during his career and described Davol Patrick as a kind man whose legacy will not be forgotten.

    The retiring commander of FRSC Lagos, in his farewell speech, thanked God for a successful career; he stated that his career started in 1996. So far, so good; he’s dedicated himself to hard work and diligence to attain success. He says promotion came for him slowly but steadily, making him reach desired heights as Zonal Commander of Lagos FRSC before retirement. Charged subordinates to leverage on his legacy to ensure diligence and accountability. Thanked stakeholders and colleagues supportive in contributions and commitment to the course of ensuring safety during his tenure. He made a plea to those he offended during the course of service and celebrated his wife for being understanding and supportive of his career.
