    Naira gains N91 to trade N1576/$1 at official window

    The naira recovered from days of slump to trade N1, 576/$1 at the official window on Thursday.

    Data from the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM) showed that Thursday’s figure was N91 lower than the N1,667/$1 the currency traded at the official window the previous day.

    The naira lost N20 against the dollar at the parallel section of the forex market to trade N1,695/$1 as against the previous N1,675/$1.

    The naira also shed N10 against the British Pound to trade N2,270/£1 as against the previous N2,260£1.

    The Canadian dollar traded N1,280| CA$1 same as the rate for Wednesday.

    The naira closed flat against the Euro to trade ₦1,860/€1.
