    Naira gains N3, trades N1,541/$1 at official window

    The naira closed the week with a marginal N3 gain against the American dollar at the official window on Friday.

    Data from the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM)!showed that
    the local currency traded N1,541/$1, lower than the N1,544/$1 the currency traded at the official window on Thursday.

    The naira gained N2 against the dollar at the parallel section of the forex market to trade N1,663/$1 as against the previous day’s N1,665/$1.

    The naira however shed N5 against the British Pound to trade N2,225/£1 same as the previous N2,220£1.

    The Canadian dollar traded flat at N1,280| CA$1.

    The naira also gained N5 against the Euro to trade ₦1,830/€1 as against the previous day’s ₦1,835/€1.
