Super Eagles of Nigeria were held to a goalless draw by Rwanda in the matchday two fixture of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

Ademola Lookman thought he had broken the deadlock for Nigeria but the centre referee made a controversial call as the effort was ruled out for offside.

Despite the draw, Nigeria soar to the top of their AFCON qualifiers group with four points.
