Turkish Super Lig champions, Galatasaray have reached agreement with Napoli for the loan signing of Victor Osimhen.

According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, the Nigeria international will spend the entire 2024/25 season with the Turkish giants.

Galatasaray will cover the striker’s entire salary until the end of the season.

The loan deal agreed with Napoli does not include a buy option and obligation clause.

“Galatasaray have reached an agreement in principle with Napoli over loan deal for Victor Osimhen,” Romano wrote on X.

“One year loan, salary covered as Napoli have accepted these conditions.

“Gala’s delegation to meet with Osimhen in Napoli in next hours for final green light to the move.”

The 25-year-old will be reunited with former Partenopei teammate Dries Mertens in Istanbul.

Although Osimhen had wanted a Champions League team, he will still be able to compete in the Europa League with Galatasaray, who are facing Tottenham Hotspur and Ajax in the tournament.
