The Commander of the Navy of Ukrainian Armed Forces, Vice Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, checked the readiness of the ship and boat tactical groups that protect the security of the “grain corridor” and the Black Sea.

This was reported by the Navy of Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to Vice-Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, the main tasks at the moment are to strengthen countermeasures against the enemy and improve anti-sabotage defense.

“The enemy repeatedly tried to enter our territorial waters, but thanks to the coordinated work of military sailors, the attempts were in vain. It is important to continue to detect and neutralize threats in a timely manner. The crews of our warships are also involved in repelling air attacks, in particular kamikaze drones, with which the enemy terrorizes the civilian population,” the Commander of Ukrainian Navy noted.

In particular, he discussed with the commanders of the ships the key issues – how to promptly respond to possible threats and maintain a high level of combat readiness. At the same time, during the communication, a number of needs for additional resources and improvement of material and technical support were revealed.

It should be noted that Oleksiy Neizhpapa also awarded servicemen who showed professionalism in the performance of their duties.

It will be recalled that the naval forces of Ukraine destroyed at least 14 watercraft of the invaders during October.
