Hajiya Hadiza Foundation has put smiles on the faces of people with disabilities (PWDs), as well as widows and other less privileged persons in Abuja.

The event, which took place at the Unity Fountain square in Abuja was attended by various NGOs representing PWDs, as well as various heads of MDAs including the Special Assistant to the President on Disability Matters and the Hon Minister for Women Affairs.

Hajiya Hadiza Foundation, is a registered non-profit organization committed to making a positive impact and inspire hope for all Nigeria Widows, Orphan, Less privileged, vulnerable people and also empowerment outreach to Persons with disabilities.

The Founder Ambassador Hajiya Hadiza Mohammed Umar is a woman of integrity, passion, and excellence, who has dedicated her life to serving the nation and empowering the people, especially women, youths, and the less privileged.

The vision of the Foundation is to create a society where women are empowered, children are educated persons with disabilities are valued, and everyone has equal opportunities to thrive and reach their full potential. The foundation envisions a world where they are provided with the necessary resources, opportunities, and support to overcome adversity, achieve their goals, and thrive in the communities.

Hajiya Hadiza Foundation is a charitable non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering women, educating children, and enriching communities. The foundation is committed to unlocking and improving the lives of women and children through economics empowerment, Educational opportunities, Skills development and personal development, enabling them to reach their full potential, to create a more equitable and prosperous society and contribute to a bright future for all.

The foundation believes in the power of education and provide scholarships to vulnerable Nigerian’s children, that cannot afford school fees, provide reading, materials, school bags and uniforms to make easy it for children to concentrate on education. Ensuring they have access to quality education and opportunity to pursue their dreams.

Bags of rice and other consumables were distributed to beneficiaries at the event.
