    Police arrests three suspected armed robbers in Lagos

    Police operatives in Lagos have arrested three suspected armed robbers in the state.

    The spokesman for the state police command, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this in a post on his X handle on Friday.

    He said the suspects were arrested at about 2:00 p.m. in the Ibeju-Lekki area of the state.

    The spokesman said: “Officers of Elemoro Division responded to a distress call on Friday about three young men robbing passersby with a pistol.

    “A loaded semi-automatic pistol was recovered from the suspects.

    “The arrest of the suspects led the police to recover 26 live ammunition.”
