The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, or NSCDC, has recognized 206 newly promoted officers in Kogi state.

Speaking at the event, Akinlade Esther, the Kogi State Commandant of the NSCDC, urged the newly promoted officers to double their efforts in preserving the nation’s important assets and to continue the battle against crimes and criminalities.

Akinlade reminded the officers that their promotion to a new rank represents a call to greater service in Nigeria, and that the NSCDC under her command will ensure that Kogi State is not a breeding ground for criminals.

She praised the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and the Commandant General of the NSCDC, Ahmed Abubakar Audi, for rejuvenating and transforming the Corps into a beacon of success.

“It is critical to understand that human capital operating within any business is critical to attaining its goals. It is frequently highlighted that organizational success is dependent on dedicated staff.

“As a result, recognizing and promoting eligible personnel in a timely manner is critical to avoiding the risk of keeping a demoralized workforce that does not fully match with the Corps’ goals and objectives.
