    INVESTIGATION: Shell, Chevron, ExxonMobil, other IOCs push climate change disinformation in the face of pollution in Nigeria’s Niger Delta

    Since 1958, multinational oil companies have been operating in Nigeria’s Niger Delta region with devastating environmental consequences for local communities.

    To advance their corporate interests, and divert attention from them, these multinational oil firms push out climate change disinformation to the world.

    Starting Monday, September 23, Naomisophyblog brings a three-part investigative story of these climate change disinformation and claims pushed by the IOCs.

    This year-long investigation explored the activities of the oil companies in contrast with their climate change claims.
