Explosions linked to walkie-talkies killed 14 people across Lebanon on Wednesday.

The country’s health ministry disclosed this in a statement in Beirut.

The blasts also injured at least 450 people in the Middle East State.

The incident occurred just 24 hours after exploding pagers killed 12 people and injured 3,000 others.

The attack was blamed on Israel with reports suggesting Mossad, the country’s spy agency, was targeting Hezbollah fighters in the explosions.

Meanwhile, the United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres, has condemned the attacks and called for restraint from both Hezbollah and Israel.

The UN Security Council will meet on Friday to discuss the escalation of tension in the region.
