Forty-four troops who were assigned to combat Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists in Borno State have been designated wanted for desertion by the Nigerian Army.

The soldiers were labeled deserters who would suffer terrible repercussions if discovered.

The impacted personnel’s bank accounts have also been suspended by Army authorities.

Reporters claim that the impacted soldiers were sent to 403 Amphibious Brigade in Baga village, Borno State, from a variety of units and formations.

Sector 3 of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) in Nigeria is home to 403 AMPH BDE.

The wanted soldiers were supposed to report to the unit by October 31, 2024, at the latest, but they haven’t shown up for a month.

On behalf of the commander of the 403 Amphibious Brigade, Major HO Akoh signed a military signal dated November 1.

Additionally, Reference C reminded them in their original release request to report by October 31 at the latest, but they have yet to do so. I humbly ask that you declare them on AWOL WEF 1 NOV 24 in light of the aforementioned.
