The Korean Embassy, hours ago, hosted  the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Disability Matters, Hon. Dr. Bashiru Dawodu and his team.

In his presentation to the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Kim Pankyu, Hon. Dr. Bashiru Dawodu stated that the visit was to familiarize with the Embassy and also update them of activities of the Committee, as well as legislations that relate to Persons With Disability (PWDs).

The Ambassador expressed willingness to collaborate with the Cimmittee to advanced the course of the PWDs in Nigeria. He stated that his Government has many schemes dedicated for support of the physically challenged.

Earlier, Hon. Dr. Bashiru Dawodu had commended the Korean Ambassador for the various schemes and initiatives of the country towards PWDs support and empowerment.

As a result, the House Committee made a presentation of a recognition plaque to His Excellency the Ambassador to appreciate the Government and people of South Korea and also encourage their commitment to Disability Inclusion.
