The VIP Lounge located within the premises of Chinua Achebe Airport, Umueri is a classical elitist setting with various cuisine and convenient ambience that has kept airport users looking forward to travelling through the Airport again and again.
In the words of African Writers Centre (AWC) senior correspondent who toured the facility recently, GCUPS Lounge is where service meets hospitality. Confirming the top-notch state of the Lounge, he expressed the great customer service experience that he felt at the Lounge as he transited through the airport. According to him, the feeling of nostalgia that he felt has left him wanting to use the airport as his primary destination anytime he is travelling to the Southeastern part of the country.
With new, modern and state of the art aesthetics and furnishing, the Lounge is designed for comfort and relaxation of users of the Anambra Airport, Umueri. It offers both chops and variety of drinks for passengers’ delight, relaxation and sustenance of all workers and other users of the Airport.
In commemoration of the festive and yuletide season, the management of GCUPS offered 5% discount on all sales in the Lounge from 1st October, 2024 to 31st January, January. This is a way to show appreciation and gratitude to its customers for their patronage and loyalty, as well as to, encourage more traffic to the Lounge and the Chinua Achebe Airport, Umueri, Anambra State.
Cross section of passengers interviewed at the Lounge on their arrival at the airport from Abuja recently stated that the GCUPS Lounge gives them the kind of international treat that they get in Lounges in Europe and other advanced countries of the world. A passenger, who simply identified himself as Chief Akubueze stated that he always felt at home anytime he is at the Lounge. “It makes for a great travelling delight,” said the Chief, who is based in Abuja.
